Cuairt an Aire
Thursday 5th November was a very special day in the history of our school. The Minister for Education and Skills Ms. Jan O'Sullivan T.D., came to visit us. She was accompanied by her officials and Ms. Ciara Conway, T.D. We were delighted to see her and meet her. The children told her about our achievements with the Green Flag programme and also our sporting achievements. Our choir sang A Chomaraigh Aoibhinn Ó and our musicians accompanied them. We presented her with a photograph of Kilmacthomas's seven arch bridge.
The Minister unveiled a plaque which will go on the wall in our new extension which she toured at the end of the visit. We had a wonderful day.
